Carla DeLaTorre

As a certified spin instructor, Carla DeLaTorre’s fitness philosophy is to have fun with her clients while increasing their endurance, muscle tone, and self-image.  Born and raised in a San Antonio, TX, Carla started her fitness career as a step instructor and continues to balance exercise and family into her daily routine.   Carla joined the Studio Physique team in 2008.

 

 

 

Kimberly Spencer

Kimberly Spencer’s extensive knowledge of movement comes from her background as a former professional ballet dancer and having studied Pilates for almost 17 years and teaching Pilates for nearly 10 years. Clients who workout with Kimberly instantly feel the difference in training and the challenge to continually improve keeps them coming back for more. Utilizing her unique skills, experience, knowledge, and exceptional attention to postural alignment and fine detail, Kimberly specializes in training dancers, high performance athletes, pre and post natal women and injury rehab/prevention. In addition to Pilates instruction, Kimberly also coaches competitive gymnastics and has appeared in several fitness DVD’s including a post natal segment. She truly marvels in the abilities of the body and the mind and enjoys providing detailed movement analysis, fitness programs and training for any age or fitness ability.

Leon Tsoi

Leon Tsoi holds a personal training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. His philosophy for a fit and healthy lifestyle is based on two key words; consistency and moderation. Leon also believes that a person must balance his or her lifestyle with proper exercise, nutrition, and knowledge. Leon is very passionate about fitness and health and credits his own personal health and physique to both his philosophy and his enthusiasm. He is a proud graduate of the University of California, Irvine and speaks both English and Cantonese. With his three years of experience in the fitness industry and one year of personal training, he likes to emphasize balance, core strength and power exercises for athletes and focus on circuit training for non-athletes. Leon has long-standing experience in sports training for basketball and volleyball, and in his personal time, enjoys hiking, indoor volleyball, and cross training.

Brandon Williams

Brandon began training at Studio Physique in 2005 while attending Azusa Pacific University where he graduated in 2006. Brandon is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and Private Trainers Association (PTA). Brandon is also certified as a nutritional consultant.

Brandon has spent the past four years dedicated to enriching the lives of his clients by helping them to achieve their goals. His experience and knowledge enables him to work with a variety of clientele. At Studio Physique, Brandon has worked with children, high school athletes, seniors and everyone in between. Brandon combines advanced scientific training principles with innovative functional training. This hybrid training gives his clients the opportunity to improve systematically in areas like balance, strength, and coordination while making the workouts exciting, challenging, and fun.
